Could anyone help with info on RALPH HOLLAND.

I have him in the 1841 census, Born 1781 Nottinghamshire, Residence

Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England.

Spouce Elizabeth.

any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know how prevalent the name of Holland may be in Nottinghamshire but our local comprehensive was named after Matthew Holland - born at Inkerman Street, Selston, Notts in 1872, eldest son of Martha Holland and her second husband George. The fifth child in a family of nine.  I just wondered if there might be a connection
