Hello Sara and Ricky,

what do you think of this person?

1871 RG10; Piece: 2460; Folio: 65; Page: 51

Richmond Street Weston Super Mare

William Walkey lodger 22 yrs clerk (wine and Spirits) b Conrwall St Austel  :-\(transcribed as St Andel)

The place fits in  - he was married there not long afterwards

He is lodging with a Burgess family - definitely William but there is no other William Walkey on other censuses to fit and the job fits too  :)

best wishes
heywood

It is- but as he isn't there-
and there is a William of right age; right job; right area and who doesn't appear in any other census before / after -
a little thing like a name might not matter  ;D  ;D

it is a Thomas, but yes it could be transcribed as William, there do seem to a few William's in this family, so maybe it is a second name or something,

thanks for the help, will have  a look at this young fellow! :D
