I am having trouble finding information on my ggg grandfather and mother, I have my GGrandmothers Jane Balintyne Nicholson, birth on Scotland's people it lists her parents as Robert Nicholson and Janet Nicholson,(ms Robson), married in Wilton,roxburgh,on June 11th 1880, but i cannot find anything out about Janet, can any one help,I must be going wrong somewhere but I dont know where.
any help would be welcome

The 1880 marriage certificate would confirm whether this is right.

Bit confused myself, Joe.

What could help is Mary's marital status in 1891/1901? It could be that she didn't know where he was, or perhaps more likely, he was just working away from his family?

Would love to say that Adam Hume is one of mine, but unfortunately, I can't.
