Hi all,

Just to put my 2 penny's worth into the conversation:

I have RANCE featured in my tree in several places BUT all in the Berkshire area married into the HEADACH/HERRIDGE line.

Now I know that there is also a strong HEADACH/HERRIDGE line in Rickmansworth I believe that appeared all of a sudden in the late 1700's from Berkshire (still has to be proved but highly likely). Could be that the RANCE's did the same!

Just a thought!  :)
The 'Headaches' of Bradfield, Bucklebury, Pangbourne etc etc!

Hi Tanya

Im sorry im really lost here , where are you a blood relation to Rance family ?  I see you have Bates as 1 of your family names , i only have Sophia Bates 1828 married to a Edward Treacher . The Treachers are my step grandads ( Len Horwood ) grt grandparents .  Hope that make sense to you .

Im sure we will find a match up somewhere lol
