Acton Burnell

i HAVE MY GRANDMOTHER'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE - her name Agnes Rose Davies daughter of Thomas Davies and Jane Davies (formerly Hayward) a farmer.  She was born at Evenwood House, Acton Burnell on 8th September 1883.

I understand from my grandmother's family were tenant farmers at Acton Burnell (the family was large with the majority sister and only 2 brothers (one of whom died young).  Thomas Davies died whilst my grandmother was young and the family could not maintain the farm and were forced to move to a smaller holding in Brewood.
