Hello,
I was given some information about the funeral of one of my relatives that took place in 1907 in Letterkenny, Donegal. His name was Father James Toner and by all accounts he was much loved by all who met him. He was only 48 when he died.
The funeral was attended by well over 500 people from all parts of Donegal and Derry and literally closed the town down for the day.
Unfortunately I have only part of the description. I would love to get the entire obituary because it apparently listed all the parishioners and other local people that attended which would be a goldmine of information
I thought I would list the principal mourners in the event that someone else is also looking for these people and may be able to give me more info about this part of my family
