Hi All.."First "Happy & Blessed Holidays to All" Looking for info on Luke Hellewell birth abt. 1796 in Yorkshire... This is all I know.. He was a Shoemaker....All appreciated Thanks Carol....

In the 184 census
Luke Hellewell born approx 1796 living in  York Sheffield and a shoemaker

Living with him were Mary (45) and Henry (11)
Also at the same address (I can't read the address)

In the 1851 census
Living 206 Sheldon St Sheffield
They have Luke(57) Shoe maker born York Sheffield
Mary born York Sheffield  is still with him and so are the following
Anne Wheatley Stepdaughter (36) Char women
Matilda Wheatley Stepdaughter (23)
Washerwoman
Benjamin Wheatley from the 1841 census is living next door at 207 with wife Mary and son Henry.

In the 1861 census
No Luke
No Mary
There is a Henry Hellewell but he is 20 so would have been born 1841/42 he was born Sheffield

he is married to Emma (21)  and has a child Hannah (4)

I've just had a look and I believe the address was the same as in 1851/1861 .. Sheldon Street.
