More Ontario marriage look-ups please!!

Dear Rootschatters,
I had some great information yesterday and hope I can have the help of people on here to get some more. I am not sure how up to date you can find marriages etc., However, here's hoping.
I would like info on the following:
A marriage of Gladys Coates to possibly an Elliot. This would be in Simcoe possibly around 1920? (parents Alice and Arthur Coates)
ALso: Norman, Frank, Raymond and Joseph West. They lived in Nixon? and would have married in the 1920's I should think. (parents James and Barbara West.

Hmm, not finding marriage for Raymond and Joseph, but Ontario marriages are only public up to 1924, anything past that year you have to order direct from the Province of Ontario and tell them why you are entitled to the same basically

If you go to http://www.islandnet.com/cgi-bin/ms2/jveinot/search the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid you will find a few of your West's burial spots.

Hi, I think I found James and Barbara at Salem United Cemetery. How do I find out when they died?

Hi Nooshie,

A good friend of mine is actually a West from that part of Ontario.  He said when his West family came over from England they settled in the Cayuga area, which is kindof like Hagersville.  He is going to talk to his parents tonight and get some information.  I'll let you know what he has to say.

Thanks Karen, that would be great. We had two great Uncles who settled in Ontario in the 1850's/60's, James and Robert West. We have managed to get in touch with the descendants of James West, but not Robert, so here's hoping!!
