Roxburgh scenery sketches by George Wright
Hi Everybody,
I have posted this link on the Dumfriesshire board as George was a Dumfriesshire man but thought I would put it on the board too as many of the sketches are from around Jedburgh.
George Wright was an artist who lived in Annan for many years. This sketchbook was given to a young child to draw on in the 1920’s. This wee girl is now a grandmother and has kindly allowed me to copy the book and make the images available on-line. Thankfully her mother saw the significance of the book and did not allow her to draw in the book. We all hope you enjoy looking at these lovely sketches.
