Dear Wren,

My name is Kiara and I am a descendant of George and Jemimas daughter Allison Brown who married Thomas Jones in 1870.

I was hoping to have a conversation with you as my grandfather and I are trying to trace our ancestry. Hoping we can trade details to aid in our search.

Thankyou,
Kiara.

That's a pretty rubbish transcription.

Much better one with FreeCEN https://freecen1.freecen.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
BROWN George       Head M M 33 Railway Labourer        Midlothian - Liberton
BROWN Jamima       Wife M F 34               Midlothian - Cockpen
BROWN Euphemia   Dau F 6 Scholar        Midlothian - Penicuik
BROWN Mary       Dau F 5 Scholar        Midlothian - Penicuik
BROWN Elesabeth   Dau F 3               Midlothian - Penicuik
BROWN George       Son M 1               Midlothian - Borthwick
BROWN               Dau F 1d               Midlothian - Borthwick
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Hi Kiara
I would be only too pleased to share with you. Please send me a personal Message with your email.
Since I posted the Brown family messages I have discovered lots of newspaper articles that give more insights into our family.
Regards
Wren

I now know that George's parents were George Brown and Euphemia Jemima Jardin/Jardine. This explains two of the children's names. I also know that he had at least two brothers William and John.
This information needs much more research and verification.
Wren.
