could anyone please tell me the whereabouts of a place called gortnaganny in ireland,is it in roscommon or galway?,thanks

See www.thecore.com/seanruad to find townlands and parishes in Ireland (be sure to change default setting from exact match to search for part of a name). Didn't see Gortnaganny in either Galway or Roscommon but each have a Gortnagoyne (pronunciation is probably very close to what you are looking for).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

thanks for that aghadowey,i,ve found it,it,s spelt it gortaganny i should of dropped the first N it,s in boyounagh glenamaddy co. galway

There is also a Gortaganny near Castlrea in Co. Roscommon.
