Greeting’s Again Steve

Have tried the Alan Godfrey Map site ?

http://www.alangodfreymaps.co.uk/acatalog/Leicestershire.html

Very good value for £ 2.25 per map
You need :~

Le 31.11. Leicester ( NE ) 1913. for Syston Street.
Le 31.10. Leicester ( NW) 1902. for King Richards Road .

By the way in the Leicester Mercury ( Mr Leicester Page )
Last night.
There was picture of a Railway Engine & it’s crew standing beneath
Catherine Street road bridge about to go into the Belgrave Road Station.

Great photos Xinia ;D ;D

Thankyou very much for taking the time to post them. I`m interested in the photo with the lady standing beside the car because you can see the bottom of the Street.  If the photo was taken in Syston Street what is the name of the Road/Street behind the cyclist?

I`ve got a map of the area which I`ve enlarged so I can place where some of my ancestors lived. looking at the map it appears it might be a terraced row to include shops before Leadenhall Street????

Great pics and thankyou. Steve ;)

looks like a couple of shops or something down there... I am checking my memory -- Syston Street ran from Melton Rd which has always been full of shops so it could be that..........?? not sure will see if my sister remembers she has a better memory.
