Family in Netherlands

Hi, I'm trying to trace my husbands family in the Netherlands. I have managed with the help of Genlias to go back to the late 1700's on his gr grandmothers side, but am getting nowhere on gr grandfathers side.  He was born in Amsterdam 1857. I wondered if there were anyother sites I could try for Amsterdam, or how I would find a researcher there?

Have you had a look in the I.G.I. it gives the Netherlands but i didn't look if there was any records.
