Could you please look-up birth details of Grandfather  WILLIAM BUCHANAN born 1900.

And Greatgrandfather WILLIAM BUCHANAN born @1877.

I found grandfather on 1901 census aged 10months old.

Searching my Father's family,his name,Edward Hay BUCHANAN, D.O.B. 08/01/1928, D.O.D.27/10/1970. Grandmother's name Mary S BUCHANAN nee KINNEY. Grandfather's name William Roberts BUCHANAN Their Date of Marriage 31st Dec 1920. Dad had a brother Willie, & 3 sisters Mary, Cathy, Anne. Their D.O.B'S . I do not know.
Area's searching Glasgow, Scotland.  Father passed away 1970 in Australia. Lost contact details of cousins in 1970. Completing a family tree on Ancestry.com.au.

There are 5 William Buchanan on SP born 1900 and 9 born 1877 in Lanarkshire.
Have fun and don't spend too much.

Can you narrow it down?

Thankyou for your answer.
I looked up SP, for my Grandfather's birth details, I found it and copied the birth cert. I also looked up for my Greatgrandfather, but too many to view, so I looked up the marriage details, found it, then I copied that.
Greatgrandmothers name I thought was Margaret McNee, but was Maggie McNee on grandfather birth cert and marriage cert.

All I have to do now is try to read the writing on the marr cert.

I have the Marr Cert,  but I am unable to read some of the cert, is there  any way that I could email it there and if somebody could try and unscramble it for me.

Hi Just found your posts and wondering if you have any more details on Maggie McNee as I have a Maggie or Margaret daughter of George and Janet and age 3 months in the 1881 census.  Could this be the same Maggie?

William Buchanan 35 b 1846 Hamilton, Lanarkshire - Tobacco Spinner
Jane Buchanan 31 b 1850 Glasgow Lanarkshire - Wife
Elizabeth Buchanan 6 b 1875 Glasgow Lanarkshire
William Buchanan 4 b 1877 Glasgow Lanarkshire
Christina Buchanan 2 b 1879 Glasgow Lanarkshire

Could this young William be your Great Grandfather?
