Hi Simon!

Apologies for jumping on a zombie thread with my first post, but this is my family and I would love to know more!

What I do know is that Mahala Taylor was buried at Welford Road Cemetery in 1887. It's a family grave which also holds Mark (1905), Elizabeth (died 1935, daughter in law of Mark & Mahala, nee Campbell, married to Frederick Walter).

Many thanks,

Rianne

Hi Rianne

I can pass on what I have, what would you like to know? Mark b 1825 d 1905 was my gggfather. Frederick W was his youngest child & he & Elizabeth had 6/7 children (as you probably know) Are you related to Elizabeth Campbell?
Regards
Simon Taylor

Hi Simon

Thank you for your response! Frederick W and Eizabeth were my great grandparents (their son Harold Frederick was my grandfather, though I never knew him; he married Cecilia Hughes, who is Elizabeth’s sister Catherine’s daughter). I’d like to go further back as I got stuck at Mark’s grandfather Theodore (I do have the female Checkley line). And when it comes you Mahala/Amelia I really struggle to find historical data, other than her father Richard Jones.

I do know where both Mark & Mahala (plus Elizabeth, and two of her children who died very young) are buried.

Whereabouts do you link in?

Thank you!

Rianne
