1851 Census Brighton

This is a real longshot as both these girls are probably married  but if someone could have a look for Mary Carter age 30 and her sister Frances age 29 in Brighton please..


They did not move to Lewes with the rest of the family. However I have a couple of illegitimate children living with Grandparents in Lewes and listed as grandchidren, they don't belong to any of the three brothers who did move to Lewes with mum and dad so I have to conclude that either Mary or Francis or both were 'naughty girls'!
It would be nice to find them if possible

Thank you Paula - I take it that there are no ages given for these Marys.

I'll do a bt more digging and see if I can find just which area in Brighton mine came from.  In the meantime I will keep a note of all the references.
