Thank you for the exchange of information.  I have learned a lot.  An interesting note about Franklin James...

It appears that while he was called Frank or Franklin during his life, he was born James Franklin and according to a family member he didn't officially change it to Franklin James.  It certainly adds to the challenge of searching for family.
