ok so was 1857 whenthey married?
if so the elder hcildren were born out of wedlock.
if you get the birth cert for the elder childrne this will tell you where they were then but most importantly if Edith was born  1851 that would help you re the 1851 census.

this is my problem I don;t know when they married never found anything anywhere in UK to prove they married but saying that yes its possible they married after kids were born but don;t think so unless they married by romani way then were married by church law if you follow
All i can sayfor sure is that their children were baptized
Which is on my beginning post
the only thing I have to go by for dates of Tenet & Keziah was when they went to USA in 1857 m y great grandfather was then 1 and with them I have thought its possible that Tryphena & Edith could be the same person maybe changed her name who names it was a common thing theydid
I also have thought its possible Edith I know lived was lwft with family here in Uk when parents went to USA but have never found again any proof to verify this

Thanks for that one  Edith Jeffs sounds interesting will look it up again its possible connection I can;t say for sure to anything thats posted until i research rfurther but everything will be noted and I will let you all know if it brings me anything

    Could this be the one that Deb found in 1851 census?

There is a problem here not trying to confuse anyone but there is a Plato Buckland born roughly same time from Marlow Bucks  he died aged 100 + and I know of him
Now he will come up I am sure but I don;t know if he is related to me but he isn;t Tenet brother sorry
Tephra wasn;t joking when she said this one will test everyones skills and I do appreciate eveyones interest really lol

What I need really is someone who has access to parish records think thats only way we may find tenet or Plato
i have tried so hard to trace them believe me but only via Ancestry which only goes as far as 1841
 so if anyone can look up parish records or suggest to me where to look that would help
