Interpreting WW2 war record
« on: Tuesday 19 February 08 14:56 GMT (UK) »
Hi there,

I am trying to make sense of my grandfather in law's war record. I know that he was POW and returned back to the UK on 02/5/1945.
Thereafter it states:
T List ? 2/5/45
P/A 8 Res Reg 6/7/45
ERE 23/8/45 6 Formation College
Relegated Class Z(T) Reserve Class C Release 30/11/45

I would be grateful for more information about what the above might mean.

He was finally discharged on 2/4/52.

Many thanks,

Jac
