James SIMMONS b 1829 b Barcombe[ or Lewes] and his wife
Kate Simmons b abt 1829
might be living with George WILBAR [her father] as they were with him on the 1881

many thanks for checking. I have them for 1851, 1881 and 91, i was just trying to find them in between. Its strange how some folk just'vanish' for a few years the turn up again.

i have done quite a few look up's for you and i seem to be going round in circles.
i found James for you in a previous look up.
what exactly are you wanting to find?

I was trying to find if James and Kate had any children after they married, On the 51 they had just married and it is a 30 gap before I find them again when the children if they had any, would usually have left home.
Trouble is with this SIMMONS family, there are an awful lot of Richards, James and Thomas so it looks like I am after the same person and, just to add interest, a lot were born in several  small areas. Useful in some ways but a real pain in others.

Hope I'm not poking my nose in BUT..there is a 42 year old James SIMMONDS a Jobbing Gardener with wife Kate also aged 42 in Hove on the 1871 -  she born Lewes he born Barcombe - no one else in the houssehold
 
if you put his name in without the D you get a different set of results.
