Hey,

That's quite cool then, and it seems that our great grandparents were brothers. The only thing I don't understand now is the marriage of my Joseph, On the Census records it states Elizabeth, however you've noted that his wife was a sarah Meddens, which is also rather interesting as one of Joseph's son's middle names was Meddens.

How does this tie in? Did Joseph get married twice?

Don't know if you already have all the info. that you want about this family but several children of Timothy and Sarah are recorded as baptized at St Thomas, Dudley but oddly not the ones on dates that were given in your table.  Where did those dates come from?
McDonough, Oliver, McLoughlin, O'Brien, Cuthbert, Keegan, Quirk(e), O'Malley, McGuirk (Ireland)
Dudley, Winchurch, Wolverson, Brookes (Black Country)
Concannon, Moore, Markowski (Markesky), Mottram, Lawton (Black Country)

Hi DudleyWinchurch,

thanks for your message... with regards to the dates in the last few messages they were ascertained from the information on the familysearch.org website...

i haven't managed to get to Dudley Archives to check up on any of the dates to confirm them.. what were the ones that you have found?

Hi Jim1212,

thanks for your reply.. there may be a connection, however im not sure that the marriage would have been in Handsworth, because Joseph was from dudley and that would have been out of his parish...

the christening for the Elizabeth Meddens may be a bit more fruitful though as both Dudley and Hartlebury were in Worcestershire.. I will look at this more closely!!

Thanks :)

Hi populardude,

Were the Family Search entries extracted or submitted?

there are several dates now up on FREEREG, doesn't yet include 1811 and 1812 (until next update) but Charlotte should appear then, baptised in October 1812. Baptisms from 1794 to 1812 should then be complete.

However, there didn't seem to be any baptisms at all for the date given for Hannah/Ann and if George is there, then I've missed him.  I'll try to find time to check again more closely in the next few days and confirm the exact date for Charlotte.

Hi DudleyWinchurch,

Hey thats great stuff..

with regards to these dates etc.. they first came from another rootschat user... i checked briefly on that site and saw a few of them so took them as correct and complete... so i dont necessarily know too much about the site, but id say that they were probably submitted on to that site
