id for school cap & pic date

Hi all ,firstly can I request some opinions on a date for this photo and second some help to identify the school cap/uniform. Difficult the latter I know,but perhaps there is a resource out there. I have no info on the individual ,just a hunch,which depends much on the date people think if my hunch is correct & looking at facial features. If it is who I suspect then the school concerned may be in Tottenham/Edmonton area.

I wondered if it might be Tottenham Grammar School, but the cap isn't the same.
But perhaps he is too young for senior school??

Thanks for replies guys. A bit tricky as I thought.

Here is a clearer blow up of hat. He also appears to have a striped tie.

Is this as late as 1930's?? Would it be as early as 1900??

Date-wise - perhaps the shoes will give a clue?  They are shoes, not boots - when was it generally that shoes took over from boots for children?
