looking for a death cert
« on: Friday 22 February 08 21:47 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I am looking for a death cert for Alexander Burrell Moore born 1878 in Newcastle. He died we think between 1940 and 1960. He left a wife Mary Gould. Just interested to know what the details on the cert are. I think the parish was St Barts , Newcastle.
Many Thanks

Mrst

You can search the GRO death index free at http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx  (You may need to sign in as a guest.)  It takes a while to plough through the quarters, but with a little patience, it's usually possible to find the information you need.

However, I'm afraid it's impossible to see the details without buying the cert.
