Frake / Fraker / Freaker
« on: Monday 10 January 05 03:15 GMT (UK) »
The genealogist's nightmare! My GGgrandmother's maiden name was Martha Frake but I have seen her father listed on the LDS site as Fraker. The only similar name seen on another site was Freaker (don't laugh, please!). Can anybody help with details of this family (and help me solve the surname problem):

Martha Frake d. 1892 in Alverstoke ??? (I have her death certificate - Frake); married 02/04/1835 to William Laming (on LDS site - Fraker); born abt 1811 (calculated from 1881 census).

James Fraker (according to the LDS site). No detail except that his wife was called Mary.

Any other Frake etc. descendents out there?

Thanks for your help.
