Hello All

                 I hope someone could help me on my grandfather. I would like to gather as much info as possible on

William Henry Griffiths

He was Staff Sergeant W. H.Griffiths.1st ArmyPantalaria Army Recovery R.E.M.E..
His Army number was 1847811.This was his 2nd World War information.I know nothing about his 1st world War records ,though, in the WW2 he did get lost.

       Does his number follow on from the  st world war? If not, how do I find out further inforamtion?

I hope someone can help!

ps he died in 1982 aged  but from my uncles and aunts he lied to get to the front in WW1
