Old conveyance of land situated in St John's Road, Longfleet. Other names mentioned include BARNES, BRIDGE, WHEATLEY and FOREMAN. Document dated 1897. Most of the signatories came from Portland but COMPTON came from Poole. Bought as part of a batch of 5 documents, only one of which I actually wanted. Free to suitable home :-)

My father Sydney George Compton who died in 2006 had a mother who came from Dorset. His father went to Westminster School, London,. Is there a link? Merseygirl 32
