Do you know when Lily died?  Her death entry might pin down her given names  - and indeed her date of birth - more precisely.

Bother, I can't see any other Lilys in Eastbourne and the only Horace is a Charles Horace born 1899 with no Lily and she would be too young if she was younger to marry in 1908!

Yes I think she died in the early 1950s, around 1952/3.  Stanley Herbert was born in Shipley, Leeds in Yorkshire, but I am pretty sure she was born here!!
She lived in France after the birth of her first son as my grandad and another brother were born there!!
I am completely stumped here.
