help with timothy brown please
« on: Thursday 06 March 08 20:11 GMT (UK) »
hi all,

researching for a good friend in glasgow who is looking for details of the brown family.

i have got as far back as the 1871 census for timothy brown.

timothy had married eliza carwardine 24/7/1870, eliza died around 1884 and timothy remarried marion wooley.

timothy was the son of william, william was a naval pensioner on the 1881 census and was born c1823 queensbourgh.

if any kind soul has any free time to help me get back a little further i would be ever so grateful as i cannot see the trees for the forest......

1881 has Eliza born Rochester. This is possibly her baptism, top of right side page.

MODIFIED: May NOT be her as no father is mentioned on marriage cert. There is an Eliza Ann born Mar qtr 1850, which is probably her.
