Avatars

Is it possible for me to change some setting or another to disable moving avatars?

I can understand why people might like them, but I find them annoying!

Modify Profile
Membership Related Settings
RootsChat Profile Information
Look and Layout Preferences
Notifications and Email
Personal Message Options

You can actually avoid viewing other peoples avatars at all .. I'm sorry about mine though!

Pels beat me to it.

But bear in mind, the RootsChat profile option means either all avatars, or no avatarsl.

Sometimes you can set a browser option to stop animated GIFs from 'animating' but that would also be a global option for all such images.

I like penguins Pels, I'm not out to offend the owners of all moving avatars, I might never get another helpful reply to my queries! (Says he tongue in cheek!)

Pressing 'Escape' will usually stop one moving; try it on Pels penguins !!
