1910 Ulster directory- Donegal town- lists a publican Michael McGolrick:
www.libraryireland.com/UlsterDirectory1910/Donegal.php

I think Michael was the son of Bernard McGolrick. I think they may be related, but don't know. Perhaps Francis, Sr. and Bernard were brothers, or cousins?

Francis, Sr.'s parents were James and Elizabeth McGoldrick.

There are quite a few different ways I have seen McGoldrick spelled. M'Goldrick, McGolric, McGorlick and more.

McGoldrick - Donegal Town, O'Brien - Howth, Flynn, Quirk, Manning, Mangan - Ireland

Hi Wee Annie

A James Harkin of Carndonagh married a Fanny McCallion of Glenmakee in the Sacred Heart Church Carndonagh on 06/01/1888. Is that who you are looking for?

Hello Again Little Annie

It was among some information that I copied in Carndonagh Library. I photocopied some page from BMD entrys they have in printout form.
My mother was also McCallion (different parish)and her grandparents were also married in Carndonagh and the entry I sent you happened to be on the same page.
Going by that you should now be able to get a copy of the marriage from the Registers Office in Letterkenny as they were married after 1864. A full copy is about 9 euro. I do not know where you are situated but if you require the address in Letterkenny let me know and I will pass it on to you.

P.s. I can understand the excitment that comes when information is found. Been there etc.

Anyway I wish you well with your search.

                                                            Patrick
