Rackstraw, Sunderland, 1851 to 1871
« on: Saturday 15 March 08 22:48 GMT (UK) »
I'm now looking for William Rackstraw, born 1810 in Bishopwearmouth.  He was married to Ann and lived in Sunderland.  He died in 1872.  Relevant census look-ups would be much appreciated.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

Nothing obvious in 1851 at the moment.  Can you give us some details of the names/birthyears of their children

When and where was Ann born

It may be as well if you amend your header and the name in your opening message to avoid confusion

I can't find them in 1851 or 1871 which is strange.  There is a freebmd death in the June qtr 1871 for Joseph Rackstraw aged 19

Thanks for looking.  It is strange that they're not on the other censuses.
