hi there am very stuck i'm looking for a fred bidder who on the 1901 census was born in gloucester, gloucestershire in 1881 but in 1901 was a lodger in wales i can't find any more about him, I know they moved to bristol years later when he was married with children can anyone help??? please

it wouldn't be the first time a birthplace is wrong.

1901 both frederick and fred appear.

'swansea' Frederick at RG13/5080; F/56; P/51

How do you know that particular fred bidder is 'yours'?
Have you other information which you haven't revealed?

hi there thanks so much for being so helpful my fred married margaret jane haines jun 1908 in cardiff I know he ended up living in the valleys and working in a coal mine but moved to Bristol when the mines were shut 1930?
I don't have any more info than that sorry. but thanks for all your help
