England to N.Carolina 1650-55

Greetings everyone!
I am trying to trace Elizabeth Lewkenor, baptised 1626 Wenlock, Shropshire,  last heard of in her father's will of 1650, who might have been the wife of James Blount of N.Carolina.
I am English, mailing from Cyprus, and don't know where to begin. Any help, gratefully received.
