dorothy vigne - cerne abbas approx 1924

I am trying to help someone from America trying to trace her grandmother and her mother's mother who is still alive.

Dorothy Vigne (not sure if maiden name or married name) resided at The Bungalow Cerne Abbas in 1924 when she went to London to have a baby.  She did return to The Bungalow Cerne Abbas.  The Mission of Hope wrote to Dorothy care of Mrs Edwards of the Bungalow. Dorothy Vigne put her age in 1924 as being 38.  Any help gratefully appreciated.
