Hi

Sarah Darby's ages don't make sense ... I am sure that the 1861 where it states that she is 45 must be an error as in the other censuses she is always about 25 years younger than John Pearson.

I also cannot find William b 1847/8 with Lydia in 1851 ....

Im a bit confused as in 1871 census on A------y the names are different to what was posted.

George Ambrose and Walter are called Johnson and not Pearson. Do you think this is a misprint?

Hi Sue

They are definitely Pearson on orginal... The 2 boys are on the next page to the parents ...I think they have been mistranscribed on the index.

Not sure Toni ..I have also been searching for Theresa/teresa Pearson and Darby ... I am also wondering about the middle name Ambrose .....

Do you think that sarah Ann was just saying she was married as she was living with an older man ? I have tried to spot John Pearson in 1841 ..near impossible ...am thinking the only way to find his 1st wife is by ordering William's birth cert ...There is a birth of a William PEARSON dec q 1847 , Sheffield
