There's quite an age difference between those two, isn't there, and she was born in Ireland, which negates my previous ramblings.

Oh, dear, these blessed Marshalls. I haven't found one who stays the course yet!

I could  :'(

Thanks. Maybe they didn't have children as she was so old?

Thanks for all your hard work, Gadget, once again.

We did drawing at the over-60s watercolour painting class this am. We had to draw a chair, umbrella, wellington boots, coat hanging on chair and ordnance survey map on chair. I can honestly say that I liked the chair bit best and the rest, well, there's room for improvement. How long have I got? ???

Give up the watercolours and use charcoal on a big A1 sheet of cartridge paper  ;D

Is Jane a direct ancestor, cos if she is, it must have been before she married Frank  :-\

No,Frank (Francis) is the ancestor. He's one of THOSE dratted Marshalls who never dare to show their faces. What on earth did they do that was so bad?

Goodnight. I am looking forward to the linguine pasta recipe please. The cowl one has been tried and tested.

You're a gem! :)

Thanks.

I did find some graves when hubby and I went a wandering around the churchyard last year but I will have to check which ones. There was one we found which listed many Marshalls on one headstone, erected by Mary Brown nee Marshall. She was the youngest sister of Francis.

Sadly the church was all boarded up - very depressing. It's a sign of the times I suppose.

Bye for now.
