I stumbled across this thread whilst searching for any details about George and Elizabeth Bristow.
Has anyone been able to trace any further information about them or their background?

Hi Peter,
   Here is an obit to George BRISTOW (Albany Advteriser July 3 1915) http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article70118978

   It says that subsequent to his long time at sea, he worked on the railways in NZ and then on railways  in the Eastern States and then Albany.
