1851 census
« on: Tuesday 15 April 08 21:27 BST (UK) »
This'll be a challenge because i can't find them.

James SPARKES and Mary SPARKES born 1819 and 1821 respectively.
in 1851 they would have had 5 children.
Amelia, John, Robert, Henry and James born 1844, 1846, 1847, 1848, 1850.
Everyone is born in Cranleigh in Surrey.
I have found James in all census returns from 1841 to 1901 except the 1851..... he's never ever been anywhere else apart from Cranleigh.

I've looked through all the pages for Cranley for 1851 and this family isn't there.  Perhaps they just got missed off the census?

Frustrating, isn't it?  I've got a few "invisible" families, too!
