Hello, I hope this is the right place to ask, I am looking for any information on John & Alice breeds ,They were living at 11 Hill Street St clements in 1908.

I wonder if this could be their marriage .. ?

Marriage, Sept qtr 1893
John Robert Breeds
Alice Knight
Hastings, Vol 2b, page 39

If this is the case, they should both appear on the 1901 census.

This looks like the same couple ..

1901 census:
RG13/864, Folio 55, Page 20

Sussex, Hastings, All Saints
Near ? of 3 Bourne St.

John R Breeds, h. mar. 30, Yachtsman, b. Sussex, Hastings
Alice, wife, 28, b. Surrey, Caple
Annie G, dau, 5, Scholar, b. Sussex, Hastings

Hi Pels, Thank you for your swift replies .This is 100% them and you have put more pieces in my puzzle for me by finding the marriage date, and a older sister to the Elizabeth Mabel Breeds who I began with.

Here is the birth taken from FreeBMD for John Robert ..

Birth, Sept qtr, 1870
John Robert Breeds
Hastings, Vol 2b, page 16

According to the 1891 census it appears his parents were Frederick and Mary A. If you would like any further details please don't hesitate to ask.
