Looking for any info on William Veitch Wilson he was a widower with two sons when he married Christiana Davies (Dockray) in 1923 in Hartlepool he was a Sea Captain .  any info much appreciated. thanks Carol

Sorry I don't have him on any census and I don't know when he born . I will send for his marriage cert. for the info.  we think he was born around 1875 .

I have tried looking for him in 1901, I doubt if his middle name would be recorded on the cenus, .

 William Wilson is so commonplace.... also as a sea captain he may be away at sea during the census.   

Do you have the names and or  ages of his two sons by any chance

Sorry I don't have the ages of his sons , all I know is his first wife died in child birth. William was much older than his second wife . I will know a little more when I get Marriage cert.  Thank you for all your help it is much appreciated.

Wow!!!!!!!!!! thank you ever so much Christopher and hpool Thats fantastic .  William Veitch had two sons his first wife died in childbirth, I don't know anything about them. he married his second wife who was 30years younger than him .

up to c1928 women did not appear in the electoral roll books unless they were 30 or over (full voting) which is why christina is not listed with her husband.
