Thank you again jorose, with the first girls been born in england would Grace have died there? Jane second wife was the childrens nanny so would have been with them when they lived in England, maybe married there as well and then went to India where she had her two girls "just a thought"

I can't see her death on freebmd.rootsweb.com, or the second marriage, which is why I thought he might have been temporarily stationed in Ireland, and the death/marriage took place there. Or

If you order Marion's birth certificate and thus get more information on Jane, we might be able to find something else.

The only marine death I can see for any Prosser around that time is a William Prosser who died aged 30 at RNH Malta in 1916.

If Walter left the army before WWI then there may be discharge records for him at the National Archives in Kew.

Hi this is the first time on this site and I'm looking for family of Walter Ambrose Christmas Prosser, my grandmother was the eldest daughter of Walter & Grace.

This is a long shot just browsing old posts and discovered someone else was searching for Walter prosser did not see it at the time have information that may be useful
