« on: Saturday 26 April 08 11:44 BST (UK) »
In 1861 I have him as an "ag lab" aged 39 b. Itchen Stoke Hampshire, married to Mary aged 33, living in Abbotstone, Itchen Stoke, Alresford.

The eldest children are Thomas aged 13 and Laura aged 10.

Any help welcome!

Thank you.  8)

That's a pleasure Ian and I was wondering whether there was some link between Mary and the Stevens until I saw Barbara's message about her birthplace!

I had a look at the 1851 census for Benjamin Hunt and he appears to be living at the same place

H0107 1673 81 19
East Stratton and address next door is White Way
Benjamin Hunt, widower, age 54, Farm Labourer born East Stratton
