At least they were acquitted!     

There's definitely another Collan Datson around - he married Christian Renfrey 24/12/1803 in Kea.

Just found this by googling Collan Datson;

members of the Datson family starting with William b.1705 and children including William b.1736. Also William (1736) children Mary b.1763, Absalom b.1765, Ann b.1768, Collan b.1770, William b.1772, Hugh b.1776 and Jane b.1779

I am starting to get confused as to who is who now .... Maybe I should draw a tree ....so I can stay on top of things ... :-\
