I am trying to find a link between a large family group of this surname in the Verwood/Cranborne area of Dorset to another Henning family group in the Newport area of the Isle of wight - looking in a time frame of 1800-1900. I am trying to find out why a daughter of the Dorset Henning took herself to live round the corner of the IOW Henning in the late 1880s.
