 I am researching the Gorman /  Kirby family of Charleville County Cork.

James Gorman married Johanna Kirby in 1831 Shandrum Cork. They had the following children and lived in Charleville

Hanna b 1833
Catherine b 1835
Michael     b 1837
Ellen         b 1840
Patrick      b 1842
Jeremiah   b 1843.

Hi, I am wondering if I could ask you if you had any results on your Gorman search. The reason I am asking is that I am trying to trace back a Michael Gorman born in Cork who appears as a 24 year old on the 1961 Wales Census. His father was James ( as per his wedding cert (married in Wales).i can only locate 2 Michael Gormans born in Cork around the right date with a father James, this being one of them. If you had any info on your Michael you could share, o would be very grateful. I might be able to discount this line or not. Thank You, Mary Coyne
