Edith Louise HUDSON

hi there I'm trying to find the fathers name for a edith louise hudson who was born in 1880 in torpoint cornwall her mother was called Louisa born 1860 also in torpoint any help would be great thanks so much

Edith and Lousia appear on the 1881 census together.

Lousia is described as married and a sailor's wife and she is only 21 so won't have a husband on the previous census. In 1891 Edith is away from home and Lousia appears to be Annie L Hudson at home with son Frederick but no husband. Recorded as married

In 1901 Annie L Hudson is at home alone and now recorded as widow.


I think the only option is to try and find Edith's birth registration so you can send for the certificate

I've had a little look around and found this marriage.
Annie Lousie would have only been about 17/18  when she married.

You can only verify this information by sending for the cert

That second Frederick is the son at home with Annie L on the 1891 - if you need the details of these census let us know
