Hi need help to find my gt gt Grandpersent marriage. I have been looking off and on for 3 years. This is the info  I have . There names are Andrew Perry and Anne Booth married about 1860-67. I got my gt Grandfather's George Henry Perry birth record  from GRO in  England  and Andrew and Anne  where married.
George was born  in 1871 in Barnsley county of York
In the 1871 census they are there but  it is Parry not Perry
I no it is them as the address is the same as on the birth record for George
Andrew Parry  37 Bricklayer Born Stourbridge Staffordshire
Anne Parry 26 wife born  the same
William A Parry 4  not sure where born
George Hy Parry  1 Not where born
In the 1881  there is only Andrew and George there.Where is Anne  and William
Any help please

Ann would appear to have died by 1881 because Andrew gives his status as widower. William A aged 4 according to the 1871 census was born in Darlington County Durham.

Births Sep 1865
Perry  William Andrew     Darlington  10a 24

A possibility for William on the 1881 census.
Andrew and George are in Milton Burslem on the 1881 census RG11 2716 folio 155
also in Milton RG11 2716 folio 153 is
William Perry 16 Apprentice baker Ramsgate Durham
in the household of John Hancock a baker and grocer.

Have you found Andrew on earlier censuses?

It doesn't say Joseph is his father, they were both lodgers, but the age is consistent with his age on the 1881 census of 55. Ann was much younger born according to the 1871 census circa 1845 so Andrew may have lowered his age when he was with Ann. On the 1871 census he gives his age as 37. Also the 1861 census entry gives his birthplace as Brierley Hill as does 1861.

1871 census RG10 4891 folio 57
45 Richmond Street Middlesborough Durham
Joseph Parry 63 Boarder Married Bricklayer  Brierley Hill Staffordshire

You may need to look at the other brother's birth certificate to see if the information is the same.

Try this for a possibility

JOS. PARISH
Birth:  23 SEP 1806
Christening:  26 OCT 1810   Brierley Hill, Stafford
Father:  THOS. PARISH
Mother:  SARAH

ANDREW PARRISH
Christening:  02 AUG 1829   Brierley Hill, Stafford
Father:  JOS PARRISH
Mother:  HESTER

I can't find any Andrew Parry baptisms in the Kingswinford registers or the Brierley Hill registers but I can find a Joseph Parry so the Parrish entries may be a red herring. Andrew Parrish though is the only baptism to a Joseph and Hester. No other Parrish baptisms for them. The actual baptism entry would give Andrew's father's occupation.

Or

JOSEPH PARRY
Christening:  10 NOV 1805   Kingswinford, Stafford
Father:  JOSEPH PARRY
Mother:  ESTHER

1841 census HO107 996/13 folio 27
Mount Pleasant Kingswinford
Joseph Parra? 35 Bricklayer
Ester Parra? 35
Andrew Parra? 12
Eliza Parra? 10
Maria Parra? 9
Sarah Parra? 6
Mary Parra? 4
Phebey Parra? 1
all born Staffordshire

1851 census HO107 2036 folio ?
Mont Pleasant Kingswinford
Joseph Parry 44  Head Married Bricklayer
Ester Parry 43 Wife Married
Ann Maria Parry 19 Daughter
Mary Ann Parry 13  Daughter
George Parry 8  Son
Isabella Parry 5 Daughter
Joseph Parry 3  Son
Ann Rebecca Parry 1 Daughter
all born Kingswinford

For this to work there would have to be a double entry on the 1861 census which is possible if Esther entered the schedule for those who usually lived there ignoring the fact Joseph was briefly working away from home.

RG9 2074 folio 104
Brickmaker Arms Mount Pleasant Kingswinford
Joseph Parry 54 Head Married Bricklayer and victualler
Esther Parry 54 Wife Married
George Parry 19 Son Bricklayer
Isabella Parry 15 Daughter
Joseph Parry 13 Son Millman in iron works
Amy R Parry 11 Daughter
all born Kingswinford

On the 1871 census Esther is lodging with her married daughter Ann Maria. She gives her status as married. The only Joseph Parry on the census born Staffordshire is the one in Durham.

1851 census HO107 2036 folio 424
Level Road  Road Brierley Hill Kingswinford Staffordshire
Andrew Parrey 21  Lodger  Brick setter Kingswinford Staffordshire

I can find no further census entries for an Andrew born Kingswinford

Coverage of the Brierley Hill Registers on the IGI 1776-1864 for baptisms. No coverage of marriages
Kingswinford baptisms 1800-1831 marriages 1704-1837
Kingswinford and St Mary's chaplry baptisms 1832-1857

Christening:  02 FEB 1834   Brierley Hill, Stafford
Father:  JOSEPH PARRY
Mother:  ESTHER

SARAH PARRY
Christening:  20 SEP 1835   Brierley Hill, Stafford
