james smith.... and his father james smith

i have come accross a lily buckley married to james smith c;1878 with a father james smith, hawker and a witness to this marriage william edward smith in essex 05/10/1908.
does anyone know who these ''smiths'' might be, where they are from, etc. i have not been able to find any details for lily and james since their marriage 
would be interested to know if they had children and where they settled/travelled from 1908 onwards.

Hullo aa1Webb – I don't think this will help but it's worth mentioning – I have a James SMITH born 14 July 1851 in Maldon, Essex. His parents were Samuel George SMITH and Mary Ann PORTER. I have no proof that they were Romany though.  Just in case you have come across them. There could be some connection.
