Hi Alan,

Just linking this to your previous post http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,219343.msg1151096.html#msg1151096

Did you manage to trawl through the full GRO index for Robert's death?

Do you know if his name was Robert Waterhouse Cutts?

And, have you found those 2 younger children on the 1861?

Tricia g'day
thanks for replying,
(a) that photo of Edith takes my breath away looks to be about the 20's, very lucky,
havent been able to go any further than calling up all the robert deaths for that period then getting someone over there to see if it was him, no luck so far,Waterhouse is definatley not him.!!!!!
Henry and Jane I still havent found in the 61 list but it is incomplete Cos someone sent me what they had cant afford the disk myself,
I may have found Janes marraige in 1869 to a Bradley but I havent had the $ means to verify it
I bunged in the robert request to refresh the search for me is all..

Kind Regards Alan

I'm a newbie to Rootschat, so hope I'm obeying the rules here! I'm jumping in because I have done a fair bit of work on the Waterhouse/ Cutts family. My real interest is the Waterhouse family as Robert Waterhouse Cutts' mother was Mary Waterhouse, sister to "my" Waterhouse. The Cutts family is a fascinating  group. Robert's father was John Priston (or Preston) Cutts. If you need to know any more about them or Robert's siblings just ask!!

Sorry, Alan.. I was really curious to see what Tricia knew about Robert Waterhouse Cutts, as she mentioned him. He was from Sheffield, I believe but wound up in Beunos Aires!

Hi, Margaret

I don't know anything about Robert Waterhouse Cutts but I found a reference to him when looking for Alan's Robert Cutts.

Can't remember what the reference was now and immediately forgot about it when Alan said it wasn't his family.

Sorry, Tricia :)

Hi Margaret,

Welcome to Rootschat  :)  Hope you enjoy your time here

Alan, I've been searching the 1861 census and can't find any of them, before looking for a death for Robert, have you considered that the whole family may have emigrated?

In 1851, to recap, there were children William 15, George 13, John 11, Robert 7, Henry 3 and Jane 3 months.  Very strange for them all to have disappeared unless hiding under mistranscriptions  :-\
