What were their parents names or the names of any siblings born pre-1901?

Were they both actually born in East Lothian or did they just marry there?

When did they marry as their marriage cert will show parents names

Hi Carole, thanks for posting back, i know who there parents were and where they were born and married  (1919 Gladsmuir),  as  far i no  they were from Ormiston/ Gladsmuir, but moved to Edinburgh after getting married,am trying to find out about there son Peter Thomson b 1919 cannongate,Edinburgh (my grandfather),  also if there was any other siblings,
